Un hombre camina por la calle. Hoy es su cumpleaños, así que no está en el trabajo. Camina desde su casa hasta el centro.
Siente hambre, así que va a un restaurante chino. Pide una mesa para uno. El mesero le da un menú y él ordena el especial del almuerzo.
Bebe un vaso de agua mientras espera. La comida llega y está muy caliente. Espera mientras la comida se enfría. Hay galletas de la fortuna en la mesa.
Abre una galleta. Lee el mensaje: “Tu vida está en peligro. Debes abandonar el área inmediatamente y no volver jamás.”

Corre hacia su casa mientras ruge el motor del auto. Está casi en casa. Corre cada vez más rápido. Resbala y cae, raspándose la rodilla. ¡Ahora el coche está aún más cerca!

Entonces se da cuenta de que es una fiesta de cumpleaños sorpresa para él. Su esposa lo abraza. Él la mira fijamente, su corazón sigue latiendo rápido. Está molesto pero feliz.

A man walks on the street. Today is his birthday so he’s not at work. He walks from his house to downtown.
He feels hungry so he goes to a Chinese restaurant. He asks for a table for one. The waiter gives him a menu, and he orders the lunch special.
He drinks a glass of water while he waits. The food arrives and it is very hot. He waits while the food cools down. There are fortune cookies on the table.
He opens a cookie. He reads the message: “Your life is in danger. You must leave the area immediately and never come back.”
He feels worried. Is it a message for him? He looks around the restaurant. Nobody is there. He looks outside and sees a car. There are two men in the car. The two men look at him. He feels very nervous.
He decides to leave the restaurant straight away. He asks the waiter for a container. He walks down the street away from the car. The car follows.
He runs through the park but the car speeds around the corner. Now the man is very worried. He thinks, “Why me? What did I do?”
Luckily he sees some police in the distance. He yells, but they don’t hear him. The car with the two men is right behind him!
He runs for his house while the car engine roars. He is nearly home. He runs faster and faster. He slips and falls, scraping his knee. Now the car is even closer!
He gets to his house. He looks back, and the car stops. The two men start to get out of the car. They walk towards the house. Now he is even more nervous and scared. He unlocks the door and goes inside as fast as he can…
Surprise!!! He freezes. People yell and clap and cheer. He is in shock… What is this?
Then he realises it’s a surprise birthday party for him. His wife hugs him. He stares at her, his heart still beating fast. He is upset but happy.
The two men from the car enter the house. They smile at him. They apologise and say it was all a part of his wife’s plan.
He laughs and says he needs a cold beer. He also says he needs time. Time to think of a surprise for his wife!!
